Nick Erby is
Australia's leading Country Music authority.
For 20 years Nick produced and hosted Country Music Jamboree,
a weekly Country music syndicated program, which ran for 20
years
on 68 regional and metro stations.
From the late 80's Nick headed up 2TM Tamworth's Country music
division, which ran the legendary nightly program Hoedown
(that became CMR in later years). 2TM originated the famous
Tamworth Country Music Festival, including the Gold Guitar
Awards
and the prestigious Star Maker Quest.
On television Nick produced and hosted two weekly shows
Nick Erby's Country Closeup (80-82) and Nick Erby's Country
Music Video (94-95).
Nick regularly writes for Country Music Capital News and is in
demand as master of ceremonies at major Country Music events.
During Nick's long career in broadcasting Nick has filled
management positions at commercial stations 2CC Canberra,
3UZ Melbourne and 2UE Sydney.
