Unlike some talkback shows, you
won’t be criticized for having an
opinion and you won’t be cut off just because
you express it. Of
course, if you choose to be rude you can expect to be dealt
with
firmly.
In addition, politicians, entertainers, sports stars and interesting
people of
all sorts can pop in to the program at any time. Every
now and then Leon even
plays a song…. If we can get him to shut
up for long enough.

Leon Delaney was delivered in a milk can to a farming family in
Victoria in 1961
and has been struggling to overcome his phobia of
milk products ever since. At
an early age he moved with his family
to Queensland and was thereby condemned to
spend his life as a
supporter of the Maroons, the Broncos, and the Lions.
His school years were spent in Queensland country towns including
Toowoomba and Kingaroy, where he discovered his affinity with
nuts. Having graduated from
University as a drop out, majoring in
beer and
billiards, Leon has spent his
adult life attempting to avoid work.
This has been successfully accomplished by
pursuing employment
in Commercial Radio, where vast sums of money are paid for
the
production of copious quantities of hot air.
Over the years he has filled the chair in Top 40 shows, Country
Music shows,
Commercial Production, News Reporting, News
Reading, and now Network Talkback
Radio. Leon holds a blackbelt
in bulldust and is at his most dangerous when
confronted by
self-important politicians.
