Biography
Dianne Coveny-Garland started her radio career at 2PK in Parkes after
completing the Radio course at the Australian Film Television and Radio
School.
Di started out as an announcer and during her time there presented various
shows, including breakfast, afternoon and drive. She eventually moved into
the newsroom - and was also made Program Director.
After some time at 2PK Di then moved on to 2RE in Taree where she was in the
newsroom.
Dianne also co-hosted the FM and AM breakfast shows - in between reading the
news - and filling in on air where needed. 2000 was a big year for Dianne -
she moved to Sydney to work at 2SM in the newsroom - and was married later
that year.
Dianne is now News Director - but moves to the other end of the building to
fill in on air whenever possible. Dianne is married with three children.
