Hi John,
You would be first to say we are turning into a nanny
state. If you keep on with this nonsense about rego for
push bikes the government will see it as a money
spinner. The main place with issues is SYDNEY .
Overcrowded hopeless public transport and everyone in a
bloody hurry.

Hi John,
Australian flag. It should be obvious to all that the
Union Jack on our flag reflects our history, good or
bad, and although I am a republican do not want it
changed. I noticed with Interest on a recent trip to
Honolulu that the State flag of Hawaii also has the
Union Jack on it ,an obvious reference to its past
hitory with the poms.

Hi John,
Glad to hear you back on air, I'm listening to you on my
Macbook as my radio does not pick up your show. I wanted
to say I love listening to your show I live on the
mid-nth coast at Burrapine near Macksville and thanks to
the rain I've been flooded in for 9 days now. We had the
SES come out on Friday in a helicopter to bring supplies
and medication, I just wondered if they can have the yay
for the day as they are such a great service doing a
very important job, I know everyone knows they are a
good service, but I just wanted to acknowledge Nambucca
Heads SES as being absolutely wonderful and supportive.
Thanks for your time, Betty.
Dear Mr Laws,
I'm writing to thank you for sending me a sign photo
last year. I was away travelling around the beautiful
state of Tasmania late last year when your thoughtful
gift arrived in the mail and when I returned you were on
a well deserved break. I greatly appreciate the photo
and I will cherish it from a true radio and Australian
legend. Could you please send out a happy birthday to my
best mate Gavin.
Thanks again from Brad of Beresfield Golf Course
Hi John,
That Chris you spoke to Tuesday morning must be a wally
if he listens to the opposition spokesman (Hadley) and
the leader of the opposition (Jones) on 2LIB everyday
whinging about Labour . We need people like Steven the
Inventor and Dale to make our day, love the show.
Regards Chris
Hi Big John,
I'm teaching English in Thailand, pretty happy to hear
your back on the air. Do you think you can say a quick
hi to me? It would be a bit of a buzz for me, I have
been a fan for 20 years or more. Thanks John and staff.
Kind regards Pete
Hi John,
I used to serve you in the "old" days at Eliza's in
Double Bay when Oscar was the boss. A great restaurant
full of characters such as yourself. I just wanted to
say that the behaviour at The Lobby Restaurant on
Australia Day was an unmitigated disgrace. Totally
Un-Australian - I served in the Army with a Full blood
from NT - Elgan Leedie - an absolute top bloke and
digger who's own family didn't want to know him because
he had joined "whitey". How sad that all these years
later it is still happening.

Hi John,
I have a traditional flag pole and fly the Australian
flag and others. I have had one flag stolen and replaced
it at a cost of $120. What worried me most about the
theft it was a boy about 12 years old and his father was
waiting in the car with the door opened for a quick get
away. On Friday I will be flying the Papua New Guinea
flag in honour of my father and his group of medical
soldiers who were massacred at the Tol Plantation on 4th
Feb 1942. I do enjoy your show and all I learn from it.
Kind regards, Norma.
Hello John,
I believe that Dick Smith is a truly wonderful patriotic
Australian and I wonder if you could mention that Dick
Smith is trying to support our peanut growers who have
been going through a rough time. His peanut paste only
uses Australian peanuts unlike other brands. If we do
not support our farmers (who because of tight
regulations produce some of the cleanest food in the
world) we will be eating chemical laced food from other
areas of the world. I hope you keep broadcasting for a
very long time.
From Chris of Toowoomba
